On October 20, at the Huaihua International Land Port in Hunan province, gantry cranes were busy unloading a batch of fresh longan from Thailand. The shipment traveled via the China-Laos Railway cold chain train and arrived at Huaihua International Land Port through Mohan, Yunnan.
Leveraging rail-road intermodal transport and a comprehensive cold chain network, Southeast Asian fruits are delivered under full cold chain conditions from origin to Huaihua within three days. Some trains can even reach major domestic markets within five days, ensuring both freshness and market competitiveness.
